Intro to Drumming

You’re invited on a trip around the world! Join us as we explore fascinating rhythms from cultures around the globe including West Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America and more. This is a beginner workshop and no musical experience is required. Drumming is for everyone! In this workshop, you will learn drumming techniques including hand positioning, improvisational drumming and percussion basics to provide you with a solid foundation for hand drumming. Drums will be provided. Space is limited.

Baby Storytime

Read, sing, and play with us at Baby Storytime! For the first 15 minutes, librarians lead the group in singing songs, doing fingerplays, and reading a book. For the last 15 minutes, babies have social time to play with toys, caregivers, and each other. This program is for caregivers and babies ages 0-18 months only. Siblings may also attend.

Little Learners: PreK Skills

Practice motor skills, counting, letters and more with your child to help them get ready for kindergarten and encourage a love of learning. Activities will rotate each week and are self-paced with a caregiver. This program is for caregivers and children ages 3-5 only. Space is limited.
