EmpowerManor hosted by the City of Manor

On March 8, Manor will host a day full of free educational workshops at a central location, Manor Senior High School, running from 9 AM to 1 PM. This is an excellent opportunity for community leaders, organizations, and local partners to come together and provide valuable learning experiences for Manor residents and others.

The workshops will focus on eight foundational principles designed to build a stronger, more resilient community:

Safety – Creating environments that prioritize physical and emotional security for community well-being.
Finance – Empowering individuals with financial literacy, stability, and growth resources.
Education – Strengthening academic and vocational skills for personal and professional development.
Recreation – Promoting active, healthy lifestyles with fun, social, and recreational activities for all ages.
Workforce Development – Preparing community members for success with job readiness workshops and career resources.
Personal Development – Fostering community growth by improving infrastructure and supporting personal and professional advancement.
Community Engagement – Encouraging collaboration and active participation among residents, organizations, and local leaders.
Health & Wellness – Offering educational resources to support physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
