Rural Whole Health Coalition Community Health Fair

Join us for blood pressure checks, hearing and vision screenings. We will have a variety of health information, activities, resources in the community and more! Organized by the Rural Whole Health Coalition.

This community health fair features a diverse group of vendors, each contributing uniquely to community health and wellness. Here’s an overview of each vendor and their connection to the health fair:

Methodist Healthcare Ministries* A faith-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing medical, dental and health-related human services to low-income families in Central and South Texas. They operate primary care clinics and offer various community programs, addressing the medical, dental and behavioral health needs of the uninsured. https://www.mhm.org/ 

Wesley Nurse A program under Methodist Healthcare Ministries, Wesley Nurses are faith-based community nurses who provide holistic health services, including health education, individualized diabetes education, referral assistance, and wellness classes. https://www.mhm.org/our-work/programs-services/ 

Smithville Community Clinic* A healthcare facility providing primary care, preventative services, and wellness resources to the Smithville community. https://www.smithvillecommunityclinic.org/ 

Smithville Public Library* A local library offering a wealth of resources, including books, digital media and community programs that supports literacy and continuous learning in personal development and health. https://www.smithvillepubliclibrary.org/

Dell Children’s Health Plan A health insurance provider specializing in coverage for children, offering plans that ensure access to pediatric healthcare services. https://dellchildrenshealthplan.com/

A+ Federal Credit Union (A+ FCU) A financial institution providing banking services, financial education, resources and community support. Hearts of Texas Head Start/Cen-Tex Family Services A nonprofit organization providing early childhood education, family support, and health services to eligible families in Bastrop, Lee, Fayette and Colorado counties. https://ctfhs.org/Programs-and-Services
