Join us for a storytime program in American Sign Language with Rebecca Giuntoli, Miss Austin 2024! Rebecca proudly represents the Deaf and Disabled Community and promotes the Blue-Collar Trades as a welder and civil engineering student. Rebecca will be here at the Southeast Branch Library on Thursday, March 7th to share a story about the amazing trade workers who build our world. Teen Code Club
In Teen Code Club tweens and teens (ages 11-15) learn to code virtual and physical self-driving cars in Python using Master AI, Inc’s AutoAuto learning platform. No prior coding knowledge is needed. Necessary software, hardware, and snacks are provided. Coding sessions are self-paced and materials are available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Sessions will take place at 4-5PM on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month, in Southeast Branch’s Meeting Room #1. Space is limited.
Pre-registration is required. Contact the Southeast Branch (512-974-8840) to register. Please notify the program coordinator if you will miss multiple sessions in a row.
