International Exchange Day - Austin Community College & Phuong Dong Da Nang College, Vietnam

Part 1 of this 2-part international exchange experience will begin with Finding Your Inner Y'all. Kyle Houston Moore will lead participants through a short series of vocal and physical exercises to prepare the voice and body to execute the perfect Texas yee-haw holler, the mighty Texas handshake and the ever so popular Howdy Partner interaction. Part 2 of this international exchange experience will introduce participants to Ngoc Lan Nguyen from Phuong Dong Da Nang College. Ms. Ngoc will engage Austin participants through two cultural activities; an introduction to Bài Chòi folk singing, a UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage of Central Vietnam and a shared singing and movement activity with “Trống Cơm”, a traditional folk song from Northern Vietnam.

Start the New Year with movement and mindfulness!Join us for Gentle Yoga & Sound Bath Meditation—an 8-week series open to all fitness levels.

Instructor Collette Ouseley-Moynan (MA:CIL, E-RYT 500hr) has been teaching yoga and meditation in Austin since 2010. Her classes feature creative yet accessible sequences of gentle movement, paired with soothing sound bath meditation to support relaxation and stress relief.
